Girl Crushes

I can’t be the only woman alone who has a girl crush, that envy-slash-fascination-slash-anxiety-slash-love of another female.

Perhaps she is a real person or maybe a celebrity. Someone you see everyday or only once in awhile. Either way, every time you are faced with this person you find yourself enraptured all over again.

While the girl crush isn’t probably a singularity, I’m feeling like my own girl crush might be. I happen to have a thing for Jennifer Love Hewitt.

No matter what I see her on, her older movies to her newer shows, I think she is stunning. I want her hair, her smile, her girl-next-store meets sex-goddess demeanor. I also feel like if I got to know her we’d be BFFs. That would be unrealistic, I’m aware. I’m not crazy, and I know this is all fantasy.

Still, have you seen her character Melinda Gordon on “Ghost Whisperer”?! Can I just have her entire life?! Clothes, makeup, her store, her hair, her husband, her house?! Yes, I’ll even talk to dead people for all that!

Anyone else willing to admit their girl crush?
